I have searched the Internet but more than a couple of old motorised kits I couldn't find. Is anyone of you armored specialised modellers aware of such a kit? bbudde Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I'm not a specialist, but I have a marder tank by kitech in 1.48. This doesn't look bad to my eyes. I think kitech (like zhengdefu ) does have old molds or copies of academy, nichimo from the 70ties or so. But I'm not sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SleeperService Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Kitech Zhengdefu kit 519 is a Leopard 1 tank but I don't know enough about them to tell you which mark it is. It is the old Arii kit reboxed. But....based on my experiences with other vehicles in this series you'll face a lot of work to bring it up to a decent level of detail. However it may be easier than a scratch build...just. Some of the Academy 1/48 are also Arii repops. As noted above some are nearer than others. A company in France Propaganda Kompanie made replacement resin running gear for these but I think he's ceased trading due to ill health.
