Hello

Here is one of my builds, finished in 2014.

Wing folding

I finished both wing folds! It was painfully long. Do not try to repeat it :fraidnot:.

P.S. This was a HobbyBoss kit with Vector correction and Aires wing folds

Hope you like it

This is superb! You've made a first class job of the wing fold. The weathering is so well done. Then there is all the detail, guns, open hatches, great wheels. Excellent build all round. Forgot to mention the base. That's brilliant as well!

How casually you pop this one in... "one of my 2014ers"... come on man, this is absolutely excellent :)

Is this the Tamiya kit? I always liked the Wildcat but I never liked the long tip of the propeller and would replace

it with something like this if I were to build one...

That is absolutely awesome, great work and a lovely paint job too. I have one of these to do as a Fleet Air Arm version, with the vector resin but that wing fold looks very complicated so well done!
