spike7451
Just gotten the 1/48 Hobbyboss N/AW A-10 A Warthog to build while I'm in hospital,it's a nice kit that comes with a nice representation on the Avenger cannon...BUT why include it if the are no open panels so you can display it?...What's the point?.... So I'm going to omit the cannon & sit it on a dolly next to the jet....
AjD
Could remove the relevant panels and do a bit of scratch-building to show it off internally? Challenges like that can be good fun if you're that way inclined... But yes, I agree. If it's included why not provide that option? Even if they want to keep the fuselage intact they could perhaps include the panels separately and instruct the modeller to cut the equivalent areas away from the main mould if they wish to fit them... Hope you find yourself building it outside of hospital soon spike.
Graham T
Just finishing off the Trumpeter 1/32 F8 Bearcat which includes a radio compartment(?) that can't be seen!
Dave Wilson
Likewise I'm just finishing the Trumpy FB5 which has nosewheel bay detail you can't see.
JohnT
I vote the worst culprit as the 1/48 Monogram B29 when just about everything aft the pilots seat is wasted IIRC
Scott Hemsley
You could also give a good argument on adding the new tool Airfix Dakota & the soon-to-be-released Revell C-54 to that list. One has to wonder how much this 'wasted' effort adds to the retail price for a kit? Scott
