shood23
I present the Aoshi Lamborghini Murcièlago R-SV Firstly sorry for the photo heavy post Right so this is my build of aoshimas lamborghini murcièlago r-sv and those that read through the build thread will see that the advantages of this kit are about the same amout as the disadvantages but overall i would recommend this kit to any builder out there. The kit only came with the bare minimum of decals for the basics so i took it upon myself to add a few sponsor decals that i had in my spares box as a kind of "what if" gt1 car Some may notice (all of you now) that the 2 trumpets closest to the the rear of the car are a touch different from the others, this is because i lost 2 while building it and had to put something there but there position has been changed to a less noticeable place now All paints are zeros and the cabon bits are done with t2m Carbon decal Thank you for looking Shaun

cmatthewbacon
Very nice -- now there's a reason for a yellow Murcielago! BTW, lay your hands on a mixed pack of small "bootlace ferrules", and you'll never be short an intake trumpet again! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/500-Assorted-Uninsulated-Bootlace-Ferrules-Kit-Cord-End-Cable-Crimps-0-5mm-2-5mm-/321442372176?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4ad7755a50 bestest, M. Big Phil
Nice interior detail. At least you can open the doors to see it on this kit, unlike my 956! I've not come across Aoshima kits before. What's your general impression of them? Most of my experience has been with Tamiya up to now, but I think it might be worth expanding my horizons a bit! shood23
Phil i can honestly say that for detail aoshima are a very close match but like with all makers they do have some oddities when it comes to certain areas for instance on this car i had to lower the ride on it at the rear due to aoshima using the stock murcielago body from the other kit they do with almost the same suspension setup but that's just me wanting the right stance to the car. I have aoshimas mclaren f1 gtr also that i am in the process of starting and i can highly recommend that, it from where I am is a beautiful kit to put together.
