DAG058
My latest build is a 1/72 Italeri SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1. It will sit alongside my recently completed Tornado GR.1 in Op Granby Desert pink, see link! http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234975186-revell-172-tornado-gr1-op-granby-debbie/ This model is straight OOB. Supplied are a fairly decent set of decals for this scheme. It is painted in "Xtracrylix Gulf War Pink" and Vallejo primer and acrylics. The kit itself was not too bad. It did require quite a lot of sanding and filler. The plastic was soft though so this didn't take too long. I have lost count of the amount of times I knocked the air brakes and undercarriage doors off, apart from that it was a straight forward build. As always any questions or comments and very welcome. thank you for looking!

Change the blue bands on the Missiles to Brown, at the present moment they are telling me you have missiles with HE warheads and practice rocket motors! jagnut
Nice model but gun ports should be metallic red, serial numbers white, missiles light aircraft grey, upper anti collision light not red but opaque and there should only be one aerial behind the cockpit. Thanks for the comment. The tyres are only modelled at around 250 PSI but on the real aircraft it should be closer to 300. Just as well it's only a piece of plastic!

shan
Absolutely gorgeous!!! i still wish someone will come up with a 1/32 scale Jaguar. there were rumors that trumpeter was to release one but turned out to be a fake.

Tim Moff
great model - disagree with Jagnut on the Ae points - there was either twin VHF Ae blades behind the cockpit, which were retrofitted to a single TACSAT Ae during the conflict. http://www.rafchurchfenton.org.uk/Photo%20Gallery%20Pages/air_displays_gallery_14.htm http://dstorm.eu/pictures/nose-arts/jaguar/gb/sadman_9.jpg http://dstorm.eu/pictures/nose-arts/jaguar/gb/sadman_8.jpg interesting article: http://www.xairforces.net/airwar/regents_war_kuwait.asp?haber_id=151#.VQXQN46sV8E superb work and weathering! Better get my 1/48s on the go!
