Dave Fleming
Interesting track of an aircraft from Rome overflying UK (South Wales) now and all ID is blocked....wonder who that is???. Probably a private corporate jet - a lot of them are blocked on FR24 Oh, and the AN225 is curerently over Manchester http://www.flightradar24.com/ADB395F/5f74968 Edited April 10, 2015 by Dave Fleming
Jeepboy
..appeared to "land" in the middle of no where (possible farm strip) in Eire. This could be quite addictive.....must must get out more!

It may well have dropped between receiving stations. Yes, it's quite addictive! I've set up a receiving station to feed into FR24, this gives me free membership at the cost of a little (tiny) bandwidth. Rick.

That would be a possible farm strip in the Republic Of Ireland. Eire is not really used any more and is considered by many here to be a derogatory term for ROI when used by our eastern neighbours of Anglo-Saxon descent. Just sayin'..... Back on topic. Anyone see the Typhoons intercepting the Bears today?

Duncan B
I didn't see any Typhoons but I saw a Tanker doing a racetrack off Aberdeen yesterday after noon, about the same time the 2 Hawks were transiting down the Scottish west coast. emlra
Can I ask you guys to enlighten me please? How do you get Flightradar to display the aircraft idents as labels without just putting the cursor over them? They only appear on my screen when I overlay a particular aircraft. Thanks Rex Cancel that request! found the answer under tools.....now I feel like one! Edited April 15, 2015 by emlra
Rick Brown
It's in the options, but they only work if you have less than "X" number (can't remember the number...) of aircraft on the screen and only at higher zoom levels. HTH, Rick.
Paul J
Sorry, but I can't play on this thread anymore. New job and no way to access internet plus little time at all at work. It been fun so I'll just have to keep up with whta is reported here in the evenings. Enjoy your 'watching the skies'!
