1:72 Tornado Canopy Problem

Guys,

I'm nearing completion of my Revell GR4, and have finally come up against the atrocious canopy. It's thick, not very well moulded and distorts everything behind it pretty badly.

I've got a couple of vacforms, but while they are clearer, the framing is incomplete and vague.

I don't know how to solve these issues:

* Is the Italeri Tornado canopy any better?

* Vacforming wouldn't give a good representation of the framing (too thin).

*Does anyone have a spare decent Revell canopy, maybe from an early boxing?
