Will the Brassin be available on release or will Eduard wait untill their 2020 boxing for those parts

If they follow the (neverending) BF-109 releases, expect a lot of Brassin available from the start, and maybe a few extra items along the line, like engine,,, (and I'd like a Brassin Sabre very much!)

Anyone know what the usual schedule is for releasing overtrees, I always seem to miss them.

John

They always release Overtrees at the same time as the kit. The Fw-190 and Bf-109G Overtrees are always on offer. But I think they changed this policy and have made many others available too.

They do have some Typhoon Car Door Overtrees available, but wait until next month if you want 1/72 Hasegawa plastic for the Liberator.

However, if you're wanting Overtrees for that aren't in production right now, then wait until July. The Eduard webstore has Month of the Overtrees and at that time they offer Overtrees for almost all the kits they have produced.

From October "Info Eduard":

December’s Tempest was touched upon in the Pot. The Tempest is at

a farther advanced stage of preparation

than might have been gleaned from test

shots. In fact, we are immediately prior

to completion. We have all the moulds

completed, and we just need to get test

shots out of most of them. Our goal is

to have the Tempest for sale at Telford

during the second week of November

and then take it to the home market for

Plastic Winter in Bratislava, Slovakia on

November 24th. It should also be noted

that the first version to be released will

be that of Series 1, which were aircraft

equipped with long cannon housings

protruding from the leading edges of

the wings.

I hope Eduard releases the Series 2 Tempest with decals for Pierre Clostermann.

Apparently they will!  The Series 2 Tempest - with Clostermann's Le Grand Charles - will be released in February 2019.

Have a look here... halfway through the second paragraph:

Hope this helps!

Yes! I just hope I can travel to Europe to get my hands on that kit.

Clostermann’s Grand Charles is a Tempest V, no? 🤔

Yes that's what the discussion is about , a Mk.V series 2.

Sold out in the first couple hours I'd think.

At 15% off I think you'll be right. I think they should restrict it to one per customer though.

It basically stated the Tempest Mk.V Series 2 would be released in February 2019, if I remember correctly. And I was hoping to travel to Spain next June to get me that Tempest, since it would come with decals for Clostermann´s aircraft.

Would like to have one too, but I don't think I'll make it to their table in time - usually I only manage to do "do the rounds" on Sunday.

There's gonna be a fight at your stand anyway, for the Canberra canopies 😉

15% off what though, last year at Telford it seemed the most expensive place to buy Eduard stuff was on their own stand

Is that because they were asking retail and others were giving discounts? Or were they using a bad exchange rate?

I wouldn't worry, after they've been out for 6 months you will probably be able to get one cheaper, while those that rushed for them at Telford still having them collecting dust in the stash ;)

I'm not a fan of colour PE anyway so will wait for the WE edition.

I have no idea, but I passed on buying and got the kits I wanted via internet sites later on at a very lower cost, I expect they will bring 200 over sell at a inflated price to help pay for Telford, I don't blame them it makes good business sense.
