Bengt Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 ....and the Stirling. Operation "Oiled" in the evening of 29 January 1942. Five Stirlings from 15 Sqn. and two from 149 Sqn. attempeted to attack Tirpitz. Due to bad weather the force was unable to locate the target.
