Tamiya 1/12 Kawasaki ZX-14 Ninja Special Edition

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

Here is my 3rd completed build of the weekend.

It is the Tamiya 1/12 Kawasaki ZX-14 Ninja Special Edition. Painted by hand with Tamiya X-1 Black and X-7 Red.

The decals went a lot better with this than my Hayabusa build.

Anyway here are the photos.

Look out for another bike build in the future, maybe even the alternate colour scheme ZX-14.

Rick

Looks great. Exceptional hand painting!

Wait........hold up a second! Did you really say your "3rd completed build of the weekend"?! As in, start to finish in 2 days? 3 builds?

Uhmmm... I think you can tell I'm amazed. Or is it jealous? Probably a lot of both! Well done.

Thanks for the comment.

No I didn't start and finish 3 projects in 1 weekend. I had 3 kits which were all at the stage of being ready for decals (in the case of the 2 bikes) and needing final assembly in the case of the car I finished off.

There is no way I could complete 2 tamiya bikes in 1 weekend from start to finish, I would have to not get any sleep to do that.

Cheers,

Rick

Nice job, Rick!

Rick, this is just as nice as the hayabusha build. Really looks good!

Turned out nicely, Rick.

Cheers,

Andrew

Nice job

That's turned out great Rick, good job with the decals

Thanks everyone,

I thoroughly enjoyed this build and I think I am converted.

As soon as the wife's ban on buying kits is lifted, I am going to be buying some more bikes including another one of these to build the alternate colour scheme.

Cheers,

Rick
