Tripod
A small scratch built model of a small scratch built aeroplane. Or, if you prefer, a conversion from the Novo Gipsy Moth, using the kit wheels and replacing everything else. Here's a view from the front: ... and one from above and behind. It took rather longer to finish than it should have done, so I might do my next one as a WIP to encourage me to get on with it. It didn't help that I dropped it on the floor within seconds of finishing it! Three-Foot Pete
JWM
I always vote yes for any scratch builds! - that one is very nice Cheers Jerzy-Wojtek
Spitfire31
That's one charming little model! Very enjoyable – and unique! Impressive miniture work. Kind regards, Joachim
Meatbox8
That's some conversion. Very nice indeed. I'll have to Google this aircraft having not heard of it before.

Buzby061
Great work. It's always good to see something away from the mainstream & this certainly fits the bill. Pete
k5054nz
Superb work! I did just the same a few years back: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a388/ZacYates/just%20models/DSC06773.jpg Although I much prefer yours - a lot more faithful to the real deal, and in my favourite scheme. Bravo.
Tripod
Thank you all for your kind comments. k5054nz - yours looks like an earlier example than G-BUCO, which is a little over twenty years old. BUCO's cowling design is much neater. I think I'll do my next one as a WIP - it should be an incentive to get on and finish it, rather than taking three months to add the eight bracing wires, as I did with this one. k5054nz
Pete - I was going for a generic version, and I just happened to have a little engine lying around! I have the plans in the garage, when I get around to it mine'll be in G-BUCO style colours. Again, great job! She looks wonderful.
