PlaStix
Thank you Steve and Bernd for your very kind comments. A couple of photos of both this and my build of the Dragon 1/72 Tiger 1 kit to go along with the ones I've posted in the Tiger 1 build thread: As I said in my Tiger 1 thread these were really fun to make. Sgt.Squarehead
The master of the 'hairy-stick' strikes again.....Outstanding finish, doubly so considering the limited tools and basic techniques used to achieve it.
PlaStix
Thank you Bernd and Sarge for your kind comments. Only problem now, although not really a problem, is that I really want to build some more 1/72 tanks but I've got ideas for other projects too and other Group Builds on the horizon plus two Spitfires to finish! Too many kits.......not enough time! Kind regards, Stix

PlaStix
Right I have finally got around to completing one of the bases. I decided to do a joint base for this King Tiger and the Tiger 1. I'll post a few photos here, a few in the Tiger 1 thread, edit a couple in the Gallery and post more in the RFI section. This is how the base started: And this is how the King Tiger looks in place: Comments and suggestions welcome. Kind regards, Stix Edited May 27, 2015 by PlaStix

Sgt.Squarehead
They better watch out for that Typhoon of yours.....That pair would make a very tempting target!
PlaStix
They better watch out for that Typhoon of yours.....That pair would make a very tempting target! I will have to see if I can stage something with the Typhoon at some point! Or make another!
Sgt.Squarehead
How about a 9th Airforce Jug instead? Or a Yak-9T or K.....Now that's a dedicated tank-killer with a gun that could do the job: Just the thing for any Eastern Front GBs that might be on the cards!
