Graham T Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 Nice kit, not without its problems but a far easier & more sophisticated offering than their Barracuda which was my last project! Basically OOB with the addition of a set of Master brass cannon fairings. Painted with Xtracolours. I followed the kit instructions for the cockpit colour & it appears they are incorrect as the V should be Black rather than interior grey/green. The main issue I have with SH kits is their rather poor transparencies which are very easy to break. One of the Barracuda parts arrived cracked (but I used it) & on the Firely, I tried to cut the pilots canopy to pose ot open but that cracked without much encouragement. Fortunately I have another in the stash but I'll need a replacement for that! Anyone tackling this kit will find the placement diagrams for the underwing serials hopelessly inadequet & confusing. 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
