gunpowder17
This is the new Hasbro Millennium Falcon. It is technically a toy , but is crying out to us modellers to make it into a model. I have started by cutting out the windows and vents etc and scratchbuilding the sidewalls. I have tried to stick to the original as close as possible with the parts i have.
Mike
Looks much better already! You should get some copies cast up and flog them to help cover your costs
Madmonk
Those side walls do look nice, I've just started to work out some lighting for mine, currently up to about 55 LEDs in total. What are you going to do with the engine detail? Cheers, Warren
Smiffy
Very nice start. Your sidewalls look great. I agree. It's a great canvas for us modellers, to do as little or as much as we want and still end up with an impressive display piece. I'm waiting for Mikes resin bits, myself. Also been collecting some donor kits, to use in the recessed equipment bays. I'm thinking I might go old school for the engine lighting on mine. More of a warm white/slight yellow tinge and no S.E. grille. Look forward to seeing your progress. Having seen your previous MR repaints, I have no doubt this will turn out just as impressive.
