Bodmin
I sat looking at what can only be described as a lame effort at a base for my Churchill tank whilst painstakingly trying to apply decals to my Airfix Harrier. I decided to practice applying some of my recently bought scenery . I added some grass. Then I added some bushes. Each day I continued to add something, even little men made their way onto the scene. Before long it was beginning to resemble far more than I ever envisaged. Consequently I've now decided to share it as a WIP. The tanks itself has had to be removed for an upgrade as I decided it wasn't fit to show at this stage. This is my first attempt at scenery so any pointers will be most welcome.

Black Knight
That looks fine to me. If it were mine; I'd break up the single colour of the verges with other scatter or flock.

Yeah I agree, I will most certainly revisit the grass flocking, although the lighting doesn't totally do the contrast of colours justice. It's more green than yellow. Bodmin
Looking good mate, Welcome to the dark side. Ozzy Thanks mate. I've always had a bit of the dark side in me and as much as I try I can't help but keep coming back for a dabble.
Bodmin
Right, the Churchill has had a bit of an overhaul and is looking a lot better than it did 2 weeks ago. As a basic model it hasn't turned out too bad. However, the gun barrel sucks andI felt it is lacking sime stowage so I invested in some extras courtesy of Dan Taylors Modelworks. This is where I'm at now.
Bodmin
Well I'm going to call this done. An experiement all in all but at the same time a little bit of fun. I've certainly learnt a thing or two, and the intention of giving the tank a base has evolved into far more than I ever imagined, the irony being that my imagination is what made it. And a few black and white. Edited April 26, 2015 by Bodmin

Natter
I have only just found this topic, sorry I missed it first time around. I love the Churchill and the base, very nicely done. Dan Taylor's stuff is brilliant.
