XL929
Love the super Frelon. Do you know which ships are visiting Portsmouth? Might try and pop down later this week if they are still there.
dolphin38
Love the super Frelon. Do you know which ships are visiting Portsmouth? Might try and pop down later this week if they are still there. There is one Supply Ship a Frigate and an Amphibious Transport, I have posted some pictures in the Maritime Section. I understand they are due to leave on Friday but there are rumours they may sail on Wednesday to avoid the weather, if you do a search for Portsmouth Harbour Movements it will be published on there I believe its a RN site
Paul Bradley
Any idea if they are opening to the public? All the foreign visitors used to do that, back in the day....even the Soviet ships - my mum got a pin badge from a Russian sailor back in the '50's when a cruiser visited.
