Ok while having a long boring nightshift I have come up with an idea for a GB which could include almost everyone!

A South Latin American GB

Ok after lots of requests by everyone.....well Steve anyway, I had a think about this and decided to open it up to the rest of Latin America.

This GB will now cover anything and everything South American "of the border", as long as it was used there or built there it’s ok.

There should be a bit of something for everybody here with all forms of transport covered, both military and civilian, even the automotive crowd with Dakar bikes/cars/trucks

So countries eligible;

Argentina

Bolivia

Brazil

Chile

Colombia

Costa Rica

Cuba

Dominican Republic

Ecuador

El Salvador

Gaudeloupe

Guatemala

Guyana

Haiti

Honduras

Mexico

Nicaragua

Panama

Paraguay

Peru

Puerto Rico

Suriname

Uruguay

Venezuela

Plus

French Guiana

Falkland Islands

Martinique

Saint Barthelemy

Saint Martin

The are some amazing and interesting subjects available which you wouldn't normally see or think about.....so what do you think?

Great idea!! always been interested in South American aviation etc. Don`t forget also the Brazillians had troops in Italy during WW2 as well.

I didn't know that, there's some really interesting SA aviation that I hope a GB like this would bring out.

Hiya Trickyrich

Anywhere Bikes and Cars can be involved you can count me in...

Steve

As long as it's in SA it'll be fine, would love to see some of the Dakar stuff!

Oh NO!!!!! Not again!!!! You have tricked me!!!

OK I was thinking of some Argentinian A-4 Skyhawk's.

Cheers,

P.S. count me in (again!!!)

:D My aim is to see how many GB's I can drag you into!! :P

The list has started

Your Highness...

Just thought of something reaaaaaally funny...

Theres not actually many Dakar bike models, probably only half dozen I can think of, off the top of my head, and they are all Paris Dakar bikes :analintruder:

Likewise, I think, for the few Dakar cars that are available.

Problem arises as they are all 80's -90's era cars & bikes.

But fear not...

I shall not be swayed...

Steve the clueless exiled in Africa's bottom...

EDIT - However, kind sir.. if you were to allow say, everything South of the US, then one could include the Pan America's rally too

that would be too easy!

Nope for the moment everything south of the Panama Canal is in, unless popular demand wants to add Central America as well!

Assuming this is for 2016?

I'll give it a go.

Peruvian P-47?

Argentinian Civil registered Spitfire PR.11?

Ecuadorean Jaguar in 'flipped' camouflage?

Argentinian brick red coloured Lancaster?

Brazilian built VW Beetle (just to be unimaginative?)

I'm struggling for any ideas ;)

Sounds interesting. Can we include Belize and any subjects therein?

actually that is a interesting question? Officially it is not a Latin American country but a Central American, maybe because English is the official language and not Spanish or Portuguese. A lot of the Caribbean are also not considered Latin American either.

So it looks like a language thing!

Anyway that would make this all very confusing, so unless there are any real problems with this then as long as the country is below Mexico and Cuba it is ok........... though I prefer sticking with the countries listed as there is plenty of variety there.
