Mop
Following on from Hawkers first jet, the Seahawk, the Hawker Hunter was their first swept-wing aircraft I believe, and one of the most important post-war British aeroplanes, operated by nearly 20 different countries on most continents and actually used in many conflicts and theatres. 1/72 Airfix Hawker Hunter FGA.9 (Kit #02073), finished as an Aircraft of 20 Squadron, RAF Tengah, Singapore, 1962 This is one of the best looking planes ever made, one of my all-time favourites and I don't know why I has taken me this long to make this kit again after 40 odd years. Be making a few more for sure, including the Revell 1/32 release
David Womby
A thing of beauty. Camm really knew how to design planes that looked good, didn't he? David

toms111s
Lovely little Hunter, I'm building one of these at the moment. I'm having a go at scratch building a cockpit for it as the kit one is a bit basic.

jean
Are we talking about the very old Airfix Hunter that has been on their catalog since the end of the Cretaceous era? If that is the case, then you have done a fantastic job! If it is not the case, then you have still done a sterling work! JR
Mop
Thanks for the comments . JR, as far as I know, this is the original and sole Hunter Airfix have ever moulded. Why they have never deemed to update this iconic aircraft, but have got countless Spitfires marks and updates in at least 3 different scales is beyond me
