He's in a flipping high hover, that bloke. Bloody uncomfortable up there...

Let's face it, no-one's going to give a toss about the box art provided the kit itself is good.

Still the wrong scheme for the era of ship. I guess having one from the home of the SHAR is ok, but I wish they'd give us an 8oo NAS cab post Falklands, preferably when based on Illustrious or Invincible.

Am I right in thinking the ship would have no rear quarter CIWS and the forward Sea Dart Launcher for that era of aircraft?

To true!

yeah, correct,

but still nice they added the missing tailplanes! ;):)

and changed the Sidewinder model to a L/M version that looks like one! ;)

and no IFR probe any longer !

they seem to care and put effort into the boxart, and that is nice!

Interesting....still looks like the mainplane is a pair of vortex generators short of a full set.....not impossible to fix though.

Bill - Government austerity measures - we'll get the last one when back out of recession.

Besides - if we had a perfect kit, what would we find to comment on? And we'd not have all that resin and other after-market goodies to keep spending our money on.

A vortex generator short and rubbish bombs !

Well i guess the great thing about this forum is the range of opinions and 'experts' it has which can be a real help a lot of the time, however the 'glass half' full blokes always make me chuckle and i never do i take them seriously, otherwise i'd never build anything ! and they are entitled to think and say what they like,

Me i am absolutley chuffed a new FRS1 is coming AND with deck tractors, its a joy to me, who would have thought it a few short years ago ? i dont know about anyone else but due to the avalanche of new releases my stash has grown to the stage where i need to look at doing some serious pruning to make way for new stock !

Thank You Kinetic , keep going, we need a Supermarine Swift, Scimitar and whilst your at it a Gannet family would be nice,

Cheers

I would agree entirely *Embedded Subliminal Message: Scimitar...Scimitar...Scimitar...NO, not the tank-thing, you oafs!!!* with those sentiments, Sir.

How very nice of you to say so....we 'experts' don't keep all of our expertise to ourselves you know...;-)
