dogsbody
Is this depicting the aircraft as it was at the end of the war? I ask because of the lack of flame guards over the engine exhaust pipes. These were sometimes omitted/removed at the end of the war when some daylight missions were flown. Chris

S48
Guys, thanks for your words! Is this depicting the aircraft as it was at the end of the war? I ask because of the lack of flame guards over the engine exhaust pipes. These were sometimes omitted/removed at the end of the war when some daylight missions were flown.Chris I made them, but as I know after 18 months of using (121 operational missions, 15 trips to Berlin) "Phantom..." was sent to Heavy Conversion Unit at Lindholme to be used for training new crews. That's why I decided not to put flame guards - they simply were not needed.
