Redboost Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Hi folks,my output this year, all 1/72 scale.Cheers!Libor 21
tonyot Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Lovely modelling Libor, I always look forward to your builds as they are all top quality, Cheers Tony
spruecutter96 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 They are some of the best 1/32nd scale models I've ever seen. Ooooooh, hold on.... they're 1/72nd scale. I think I may have to give up the hobby at this point! Superb work all round, my friend. Thanks very much for sharing and happy New Year to you. Chris. 1
IrritableRabbit Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 You said CREATURES! No creatures in this thread. I want my money back.. Well.. Mr Professional.. They all look mighty fine and professional. Not one of those looks 1/72nd scale.. Which makes me believe you have a trained team of mice to do it all for you and get all that fine detail and finishing just so PERFECT! A mighty fine turnover of finely finished models there Mr!
Bengalensis Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 That's very good work for a year and all very nicely finished, great pictures too. The finish of the Mig-15 is especially appealing.
AndrewE Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Great work. Love the winter camo on the 189 and 110. Andrew
stevehnz Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Simply superb Libor, another year of master class modelling & always a pleasure to view. I really like that F6F-6, the GSB looks spot on, what/whose paint did you use for that. Thanks. Steve.
mick b Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 All fantastic as usual Libor, to be able to produce such stunning results everytime is truly amazing. Mick
hurricane39 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Great work. No strike that. Outstanding considering the scale. Your Airfix FW190 finish blows me away. The Eduard Hellcat and the Airfix 190 are in the stash to be built. Have a very bad case of model envy after looking at your workmanship.
Will Vale Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Those are amazing, I really like the Fw-189 and the MiG-15. Can I ask what you used for the antenna wires? It looks much more in scale than my efforts. Thanks, Will
Romeo Alpha Yankee Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 All such quality builds! Great stuff Libor!
heloman1 Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Hi Libor, I can only echo Tony's comments. Congratulations. Colin
keefr22 Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Absolutely gorgeous models, Libor, every single one, & all in the one true scale!! Impossible to pick a favourite, they're all too good!! Keith
PlaStix Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Hi Libor. That is an amazing collection of stunningly painted and weathered models. You are an artist! Well done.
Duncan B Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Libor, your collections are always the 1/72 scale highlight of the year for me. I particularly like all the Fw190 s but what happened to the aerial on the Airfix one (it looks a bit slack)? Duncan B
georgeusa Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Great looking models with superb finishes. The 189 is a standout, the 190 A-8 comes a very close second. They are all beautifully done.
Redboost Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Many thanks for comments gentleman and I wish all happy New Year and great modelling experiences! Irritable Rabbit: well, actually I have a trained team of Chinese girls:-) Steven: it is Gunze Mr.Color from US Naval Aircraft set, no.365. Will Vale: it is Super Fine thread from Uschi van den Rosten range. Duncan: it was quite windy that day:-) Seriously, something went wrong and I haven't notice that until the shot was done - corrected now. Cheers, Libor 2
AndyC Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I'm speechless - what a collection and so beautifully photographed...no favourites...they are all equally good!
Lightningboy2000 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Absolutely stunning as ever Libor! How on earth do you manage to keep up the consistency and make so many in one year! I'd like to say I'm giving up modelling now, but on the one hand I have been inspired a little bit more! Happy New Year! Martin
Graeme H Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I must confess there are a few there that I missed through the year, so very glad to catch up, really nice work
Redboost Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 Thanks again gents, much appreaciated! For those who may be interested in my techniques and overall approach to modelling, it should be appearing this year an interesting project.... more info later elsewhere on BM:-) Cheers, Libor 1
Navy Bird Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 The most amazing one-year output I've seen. Libor, I can't wait to learn more about your techniques and approach to modelling. Please expose it here on BM and not in one of those magazines! Cheers, Bill

Duncan B Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Hi Bill, it is out, if you are interested:-) http://www.valiant-wings.co.uk/airframe-workbench-guide-no1-550-p.asp Cheers Libor My copy is in the Post, I can't wait to get home and start building the "Redboost" way. Having been a great admirer of all the builds (particularly the painting and weathering style) you have posted on here over the years it was a no brainer to order the book the moment I found out about it.
