hgbn
I'm going to look forward for this one Just happens to fancy Cats in every version or user. http://www.seawings.co.uk/If you'll need a good source of good photo's a little difficult to navigate in there, but their walk around section is a gold vault including a collection of 147 photo's of the interior on the PBY-6A located in the Danish air museum in Stauning Denmark. http://www.flymuseum.dk/ like this one http://www.seawings.co.uk/images/RDAF%20Catalina%20L-861%20-%20Interior%20WR%20ex%20Erik%20Thingbo/17.jpg Edited December 30, 2014 by hgbn
sartois66
So here are the bits and bobs I will be using, along with an extra Eduard etch set or two, that are still on the way to me. Cheers Kirk Edited January 5, 2015 by sartois66

sartois66
The plan is to do one of these two babys. Found on Nils 'Vingtor' website http://vingtor.net/profiles_content.html The only teeny tiny snag is that I am unable to find any other views or photos of either....yet! Won't slow the build anyway tho. 😀 Edited January 5, 2015 by sartois66

Col.
A couple of interesting options there To bad cats are so big. Almost want to do one of each of those profiles a Couple of the Academy/Minicraft 144th scale kits to the rescue?
hgbn
Could be a solution Col. But I do prefer my favorite scale 1/72 and need to build at least 3 more, just to cover my RDAF collection 2 PBY-5A and a PBY-6A. Also got one of the Revell 1/48 Cats for Christmas which I plan to go crazy on and do a Cut away RDAF PBY-5A. Still debating which color scheme its going to wear. a overall Gloss Sea Blue or a gray/red with dayglo? But that's somewhere in the future.

sartois66
Time is racing on so I've made a start at last! This may not be quite as detailed as I originally intended, but I am conscious of the finish date fast approaching. So far I've done some basic painting and interior work along with some Eduard detailing. Another session or two should see this ready to close up and have it's tail chopped off ready for the Belcher Bits correction.
