Peter Marshall
Today's work on the Easy Eight. First I printed some C Ration boxes onto light brown card, then cut a couple out Then score lightly, fold and glue with a Pritt Stick and you get some nice cheap C Ration boxes for storage Then cut out a sheet of lead foil, and sprayed Red to make an Aircraft Identification Panel Next added the tracks - only a couple of bouts of swearing to get them on, but got there in the end. Added some Winter Streaking Grime and some Rainmarks Then added the stowage and the ID panel. Weathered the Jerry cans with some Wet Effects and Fuel stains Nearly done now, just needs the Periscopes and the lights and more mud tomorrow Peter

Peter Marshall
wow it really looks great! is this a brand new release? looks so crisp and detailed Sam It's a Tamiya rebox of the Tasca / Asuka kit, with the addition of a couple of figures from Tamiya ( that i'm not going to use ). It was a limited release, they all seem to have gone now - I had the devil of a time getting one. Peter
S.Tasker
I see, do you have any experience of tasca kits? are they as crisp as this one is? Shame it was a limited release, you have certainly done it justice though. Sam

General opinion is that they are the best Sherman kits.

Peter Marshall
Today finishing off - First up MUD - kept it reasonably light Then umasked the periscopes and painted with Mig Periscope colour, added a couple of rust streaks and some dirt on the ID panel. Need to take some decent photo's when I get the time for an RFI post. Peter
