1/48 F-86F-30 Sabre

Hey lads! Picked up this bad boy for christmas. It will be my first proper aircraft model. I have previously built a P-51 and the crappy Airfix B-25, but I wont count them as they are half finished and in very poor condition haha.

So far this kit has been a gem, quality is outstanding, and everything (so far) fits together perfectly. Hope you guys enjoy this build thread. I will keep you updated on progress. Cheers.

So far, the cockpit area is 75% complete, still have to do some paint touch ups & details, I'm pretty happy with the seat (Pics dont do it much justice).

Also have to finish painting and weathering the engine. Any tips with this build would be appreciated

Nice to see this! I recently bought this kit and haven't seen a good build thread of it so your work will be interesting!

Will you display the engine?
