Turbofan Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Check out the new Zvezda 2015 catalogue http://scalemodels.ru/modules/news/img_8359_1419369777_Catalogue_2015_Cover_22_000021.jpg.html Can't wait!! Could a 757 and an MD-11 be a possibility now? Ian
Homebee Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Zvezda is to release in 2015 a 1/144 Boeing B777 kit - ref.7012 Source: http://scalemodels.ru/news/8359-katalog-zvezda-2015.html V.P. Edited December 26, 2014 by Homebee 1
Turbofan Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 The image shows a -200 but if the model is 51.3 cm length in 1/144 this makes it a -300. But who cares, it's a 777 by Zvezda!! Ian
Skodadriver Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 At least it's something we actually need, unlike the A320. Good on you Zvezda - now when can we expect the B757? 1
niki Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I was 0.6 seconds away last evening from clicking the Buy Now button on a EE 733... Thanks for the heads-up!
Caution Wake Turbulence Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Apparently, Aeroflot did once have a couple of -200ERs: http://www.planespotters.net/Aviation_Photos/photo.show?id=116450 But the 300ER, would make more sense. Hopefully, they'll do a better job than with their 787. Andrew
Alan P Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) FINALLY! The one jetliner the world actually wants to build. I'll be very upset if it gets a slamming by the reviewers, it can't possibly be worse than the Minicraft one. I will break my airliner embargo for this I think! Hopefully it will include several engine options, and there'll be a -300ER to follow? Edited December 24, 2014 by Brokenedge 1
PMG Offramp Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) I always thought it was just a matter of time. I don't celebrate christmas but this 777 news is the reason I'm happy today ! I hope it's the longer version, so much easier to shorten then lengthen. Now for the -200ER/-300 (with the smaller engines) or the -200LR/-300ER (with those big fat GE90-110/-115) question ? Another unknown, let's hope it will be an Ultimate Kit with separate high lift devices, what they did with the A320 was very nice but the IL-62 is imho a step above. PMG Offramp Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Ok, confirmed to be a -300ER, cracking news !
feoffee2 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Ok, confirmed to be a -300ER, cracking news ! So it will have the massive ge90s Thanks
A6-EHJ Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 So it seems our Russian friends at zvezda are going to bring out a 773er next year :)

Ian The image is a -300; the over wing exits and tail skid are the giveaway. But completely agreed about looking forward to this release... having just finished my second -300ER conversion... ho hum! Tom
Caution Wake Turbulence Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 The image was originally of a 777 Freighter, so you're both right... Andrew
sofiane1718 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 First 3D renderers: This plane is so beautiful! 4
Caution Wake Turbulence Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Due out early in 2016, according the Airlinercafe. There's also a suggestion that it will be re-boxed by Revell, due for release in March. Cheers, Andrew 1
sofiane1718 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I might wait for the Revell one then, better decals with them
pinky coffeeboat Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 One model I'm genuinely waiting for. At long last somewhere for my stash of decals (Liveries Unlimited sheets for Cathay Pacific and Thai, Flightpath Singapore Airlines and 26 BA) to go. I do hope it's in the same style as the IL62, TU-134 etc in terms of finesse and ease of construction. I can't wait to see those huge GE engines. Jeff

Jeff I agree about the finesse and ease of construction - the Tu-134 and SSJ-100 are wonders of plastic moulding. I can see me buying three or four 777s but only if Zvezda don't give us pointless gimmicks like dropped flaps. I hope the 3D images above represent the actual kit.
Caution Wake Turbulence Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I really really really really really really really hope they do give us great features like dropped flaps! (and correctly sized and shaped windows.) Andrew 1
Darren Rhodes Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Oh poo, now what do I do with my Welsh Models vacform B777-300ER?
sofiane1718 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) It's getting closer (February 2015 ) (Finally Out in December, yipee!!) The boxart: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10357074 The price seems reasonable! Edited December 25, 2015 by sofiane1718 2
petarvu Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) Cool mouse pad, so Russian EDIT: Ah and the kit is beautiful.. Edited November 10, 2015 by petarvu
