cmatthewbacon
Not as many as usual this year -- I normally reckon on one build per month, but moving house mid year meant quite a long hiatus before the workbench was up and running again. So, with no more excuses, on with the (rather brief) show... Avro 720 Mirage, Polar Lights, 1/25 Fokker E.V, Eduard, 1/48 Toyota 2000GT, Hasegawa, 1/24 Datsun 240ZG, Hasegawa, 1/24 Lexus LFA, Tamiya, 1/24 BMW 507, John Surtees, Revell, 1/24 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, Tamiya, 1/24 Jaguar XJ220, Tamiya, 1/24 ...there might be another completion by the end of the year, but I suspect that will be the lot! Happy New Modelling Year 2015, everyone! all the best, M.
Nick Belbin
That's an impressive collection let alone in one year!! Two started for me - none completed! Nick
Darby
Cars aren't normally my thing as I somehow could never get a decent finish but they look lovely
triumphfan
Some beautiful car models as usual, superb output. The Fokker is a bit Left-field M, was it built for any particular reason. Just wondered as I built 3 WW1 aircraft this year for a memorial display. Steve.
sean
Short on quantity perhaps, but more than made up by the quality of the builds, Sean
cmatthewbacon
Thanks very much guys. Steve... the Fokker was my "Secret Santa" present on another forum. Despite the "it's got no rigging so it must be an ideal easy WW1 build" pipedream, it turned out to be rather harder than one might have expected. If the attachment points of the upper wing add up to one square mm between them, I'd be surprised, and those strust have to be triangulated on the fuselage into barely existing divots, not even holes! bestest, M. Bengalensis
A wonderfully inspirational collection, as always with a great finish and attention to detail. Your 720 Mirage provided the instant decision for what I will build from my second Jada 1/24 Ford GT kit when I get round to it. Picking a favourite here is not easy, but in the end I'm so tempted by the lovely BMW 507. Then again, the Toyota 2000GT is very very nice as well. MikeW
That 507 just pops. Oh to have one of those in my garage. Cheers, Mike
