Having built the Mustang and Spitfire, I expected top notch engineering etc, but this one somehow...unexplainably...was even better than expected. I'll say it every time I talk about one of Tamiya's super kits, but every modeler deserves to treat themselves to one of these kits at least once. Kit: Tamiya 1/32 Birdcage Corsair AM: Barracuda cockpit stencils and decals, Barracuda resin tires (If Barracuda makes items for a kit I'm building I buy it...stuff is that good. philtn Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 To be honest and for an otherwise outstanding paint job, it's way too matte for me. I wouldn't want gloss and probably even less than semi gloss, but there is absolutely no reflection on this one and even most b/w pictures show at least some kind of sun reflection of the painting even on fabric parts due to the paint..
