JWM
Hi, Next secondliners: two variants of Stinson L5 Sentinel. The very nice 1/72 Sword kit contains two fuselages and two canopies which are different in a rear part. It was hard to decide which version shall I do. I was not able to get second one (it was rather rare kit those days). I decided to do two models from a single kit - all needed parts like wings, engine, tail, undercarridge, propeller - I copied in resin... One is made L-5A which served in SEAC with "Brodie system" for no-runway landing. More about this system one can find for example here: http://travelforaircraft.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/no-runway-no-aircraft-carrier-no-rotors-%E2%80%94-brodie-gear/ Second one is L5E in USAAF markings from New Guinea. SEAC L5 A: USAAF L5E Thank you for watching, comments welcomed! Regards Jerzy-Wojtek Edited August 25, 2017 by JWM Switch to Flickr
