lansen73
Hi ,here is my latest finished model .a reboxing of the Hasegawa kit .Its built out of the box and finished in the markings of a machine from 516 Combined Operations Squdron . The aircraft flew from RAF Dundonald the site of which is a short distance from my home. I plan to make other aircraft from the Squadron whivch flew providing realistic training in preparation for the D-Day landings. Thanks for looking!

Artydafty
Cracking looking Hurricane there and a very interesting subject! My father was a flight commander at RAF Dundonald from June to October 1944. He managed to solo on the Hurricane not to mention many other of the strange beasts on 514's books. Not bad for a ham fisted Halifax driver! May I ask where you get your information on 514's squadron codes and aircraft serial numbers? I'm planning on building Airfix's new tool Blenheim IV as the aircraft Dad was flying when he happened to collide with a LCT when he was distracted whilst carrying out a low level simulated attack. Many thanks. Quentin
