Or is it an He219?

Shackleton, but with the vertical stabilizers and no.1 and no.2 engines not fitted.

EDIT: Looks like the vertical stabilizers are fitted, looked like some trick rapper filler to me before

It doesn't confirm a Shack for next year, it just confirms they've been looking at the Shack, the kit may not appear for another couple of years yet so don't hold your breath.

Im not so sure.......Airfix have trended towards bringing out at least one 'heavy' each year, whether that is in 1:24 or 1:72 scale so it is entirely possible that 2015 will be the year of the Shackleton......I cannot understand why this aircraft has not made any manufacturers list over the last 20-30 years and had bet on Revell having a go at one time until they re-released the Frog kit. I cannot see any other 'heavy' announced so far but we will all know in a matter of hours......

What ever we hope for and get next year will be great, But what we hope for and don't get in 2015 we will see in 2016.....hopefully!

But one we will see in 2015 is a P-47.

22/12/14. 10.30 am edit: Only 1and half hours to go be fore we see the list!!!

We should see about 10 -12 new moulds across the whole range, so with 3 accounted for there are about 7-9 new ones on the cards, a couple of which are likley to be 1/48 (new Spit Mk1?), up scaled Hurricane, down scaled typhoon or complete new tool?

Looking fwd to 12.01

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a 1/72 Spitfire Vb/Vc, P-40E, car door Typhoon, Swordfish Mk II, etc as easily achievable from a current mould with an extra sprue or two rather than a complete set of new moulds. I'd really like them to revamp/remould Spitfire IX again completely, but it won't happen.
