Caerbannog
Lets hope they do not mess it up. It could save me from rescribing my Italeri TRs. Early U-2s and SR-71 family would be great. Rene

Antoine
Good news, as Ibelieve the U-2R were used by the Black Cats. I also believe that it's the main reason for HB to release this kit.
Homebee
And there's two references in the 2023-2024 catalogue: - ref. 81740 - Lockheed U-2R Dragon Lady - ref. 81785 - Lockheed U-2S Dragon Lady - Senior Span Source: https://tieba.baidu.com/p/8249037080 V.P. tony.t
I'd rather have a ladder gantry and howdah shade for the U-2R than a whole J75 engine — which, given the U-2S release in parallel, is not beyond the bounds of possibility. Nice shelf companion for the Revell Habu. Tony
GRIM REAPER
I've been waiting for this to come out for a good while, now. Now that they released the earlier versions first, hopefully they go ahead and release these.

Motty
Oooh, nice. It would be awesome if they did the same markings as the latest Italeri release, but I guess that's unlikely. Cheers, Motty. Edited May 12, 2023 by Motty 5
Sabrejet
I think the Capt David Hawkens tribute scheme from a couple of years ago would be nice.

tony.t
Hoping the excessive tail plane dihedral is just badly built, but this is definitely one for the purchase list. Tony
exdraken
Nice! What do we have here? Length of a Starfighter and wingspan of a B-52? Tony Hardly a deal-breaker or even an issue (if it is one). Let's hope that lots of ASARS and SYERS noses and pod variants get done too.

Interested in modelling an Alconbury TR-1 from the late 1980s with the full Sigint antennae "farm". Or a similarly equipped Osan U-2R jet (though the survivors from the late 1960s run featured stiffeners on the tailplane) Could use a SYERS sensor for my Canberra PR.9 Tony
