Rickpadwick1801
Welcome to all members of the SciFi II Group Build this is the thread for the GB.Thanks to Mish for organising the calendar, lets keep this simple. This GB is for absolutely anything that can be classed as SciFi - whether that be Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Red Dwarf.I recommend you familiarise yourself with the general GB rules. My only rule is that everyone who participates does one thing - HAS FUN when involved in the group build.Could all interested parties confirm that they still want to participate and confirm what they intend to build ?Thanks,RickCONFIRMED PARTICIPANTS LIST & BUILD CHOICES :1) Rickpadwick1801 - USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (The Original Series & Into Darkness) / USS Reliant (The Wrath Of Khan) / Kitech 1:48 Airwolf2) Mish - 1:500 Revell Enterprise from Star Trek Into Darkness with lighting3) whitestar12chris - Warps Babylon 5 Whitestar or Bam Bam productions Minbari Sharlin Cruiser4) Arniec - 1/72 Tie Fighter5) Kallisti - Multiple potential choices - too many to list 6) Madmonk - Multiple potential choices - too many to list 7) John Laidlaw - MPC B Wing8) philp - multiple potential choices9) atvd1020 - multiple potential choics9) prowler0000 - Revell Voyager with Paragrafix P.E. set10) TrojanThunder - Pegasus NSEA Protector11) GordonD - USS Enterprise bridge12) Bonhoff - Moebius Viper 113) Enzo Matrix - Incom T-6514) Shermaniac - Revell Battlestar Gallactica Viper MkII15) HL-10 - Fine Molds 1/72nd Y Wing16) GreenDragon - multiple choices17) S5Modeller - Aoshima Airwolf (The Lady) & Blue Thunder18) tangerine_sedge - MPC/AMT Eagle transporter19) Speedman - 1st choices - Mobius Models 1/8 War Machine from Iron Man 2 as a camouflaged military version and 1/144 Bandai Farsia from Gundam AGE.20) triumphfan - mac's car / thunderbird 2 & container dock / thunderbird 1 / war of the worlds Martian War Machine21) azureglo - EMW A 922) Radleigh - Pegasus Hobbies 1/72nd Mercury 9 Rocket23) Madhatter - The Domelaze from SBY 2199 with custom lighting system24) siamese - 1/32 Moebius Battle Star Galactica Colonial Viper from the original series & 1/32 Moebius Cylon Raider25) Black Knight - Airfix Angel Interceptor26) Scopedog3 - Hasegawa 1/20 MK Falke27) Jorgen Stendahl - Star Wars, exact kit to be confirmed28) Doug Rogers - Hasegawa 1/20 Maschinen Krieger Falke29) Rob G - scratch Merganser/Dotterel from Charles Sheffield's McAndrew stories & Rama, from the Arthur C Clarke story30) Jabberwocky - Thunderbirds 2 & 431) wimbledon99 - Star Trek USS Enterprise Flight Display32) AndyC - Pegasus War of the Worlds and possibly something Thunderbirds-y33) plasmahal - Star Wars Episode 1 Trade Federation Tank and STAP with battle droid34) Carts - something alieny35) Moggy - Starship from star trek (not the JJ Abrams travesty)36) wkennerley - Revell Pocket Kit Millenium Falcon37) Prenton - AMT Klingon Bird Of Prey38) Anthony Kesterton - Moebius Batman bike complete with Catwoman...or something else39) Stu_davros - Lots of nice choices40) -Neu- - 2 options41) badger - ELYSIAN TAUROS ASSAULT VEHICLE42) Caerbannog - 1:12 scale Atomic City 2001 Space Pod43) TonyG - Joining the dark side - 1/72 FineMolds Darth Vader TIE fighter44) Dermo245 - Pod Racer ?45) Breaker - Fine Molds 48th X-Wing, AMT AT-AT46) RichardPrice - scratch built Warhammer 40K Titan47) mark73 - one or two of either tie fighter, Vader tie, x-wing or the Jedi starfighter48) Dazzio - something from Macross or Gundam49) dazdot - Revell Viper Mk II50) Ian Shumsky - Hassegowa SF3D 1/20 Falke51) trickyrich - Caprica Air Force Jet Viper52) Sgt. John Laidlaw
Count me in, please. No clear idea yet what it (or they) will be, but the choices so far are: Fine Molds Y-Wing Polar Lights BTTF DeLorean Scratchbuilt "Clear Air Turbulence" from Iain M. Banks' "Consider Phlebas" Right, that's enough to get me into trouble, I think .

S5 modeller
Hi Rick. Thanks for the nudge about this. Not entirely decided what to build, but been through my (meagre) stash, and have 3 contenders......First up, an ancient Halcyon predator creature from predator 2.....Second, a bargain from the modelzone closure sale, a nick fury figure from the avengers.....Finally, my newest acquisition, a type xxxviii igor armour, from iron man 3.Leaning towards the iron man armour, but it is a big bugger, and if I do it I will be trying to add lighting for the eyes and arc reactor. If anyone wants to help me chose, then I encourage suggestions.Might also have a "little" surprise to throw in as well, depending how well the main build goes.Matt.
