Welcome to all members of the SciFi II Group Build this is the thread for the GB.

Thanks to Mish for organising the calendar, lets keep this simple.

This GB is for absolutely anything that can be classed as SciFi - whether that be Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Red Dwarf.

I recommend you familiarise yourself with the general GB rules.

My only rule is that everyone who participates does one thing - HAS FUN when involved in the group build.

1/350th Enterprise Refit or NX-01, 1/1000th Klingon D-7 as a Romulan or Klingon, Aliens Drop Ship, Maquis Raider, TSR.2 Meteor Sweeper from Stratos4, X-Wing, Millenium Falcon, TIE Fighter, Darth's' TIE Advanced, Battlemech, BSG Battlestar, BSG Viper II or maybe a scratch/bash ship of some kind.

Thanks for the nudge about this.
Not entirely decided what to build, but been through my (meagre) stash, and have 3 contenders......


First up, an ancient Halcyon predator creature from predator 2.....


Second, a bargain from the modelzone closure sale, a nick fury figure from the avengers.....


Finally, my newest acquisition, a type xxxviii igor armour, from iron man 3.

Leaning towards the iron man armour, but it is a big bugger, and if I do it I will be trying to add lighting for the eyes and arc reactor.

If anyone wants to help me chose, then I encourage suggestions.
Might also have a "little" surprise to throw in as well, depending how well the main build goes.
