Have fun mate! I have this kit too... The way I do picture is like this:

I upload my pics to Photobucket. It's quite straight forward, just need to open an account and use the upload button. Once that is done, you can click on a picture you would like to share on Britmodeller and you should get something looking like this:

The click on the direct link which I have circled in the picture. It should go yellow and say copied.

Next thing to do is on your post in Britmodeller, where you want to insert a picture, click on the Image button just below the smiley face button, again I've circled it on the following picture:

Then you will get a box up like this:

In this box, under URL, you just need to paste the Direct Link you copied from Photobucket, I do it by holding Ctrl and pressing v. Click ok, and you image should appear

I'm not sure this is the easiest or best way, but it always seems to work ok for me.
