tony7
Picked up a couple of Italieri Spitfire IX dirt cheep and part built them over a year ago, I found them in the loft and decided to finish them off to get me back into the hobby. Any tips or creative criticism welcome.

stevehnz
Very Nice indeed. I not sure that the Italeri Mk IX is that highly regarded but the job you've made of these well belies that reputation, those look just stunning. Steve.
tony7
I not sure that the Italeri Mk IX is that highly regarded That's probably why they were so cheap. I bought the2 beer truck kits but wanted to do something a little different. The first scheme is the IX PR, one of the only photo planes that were armed (as far as I know) the second scheme is Empire Flying School RAF Hullavington thanks for your kind words

noelh
I like the lighting in the photos. Demonstrates exactly the type of lighting that the 'pink' Spitfire would be operating in. A low sun with a lot of red in it with clouds around. Perfectly illustrates the reason for the colour.
