What's flying over your house? Thread #2

That was exciting! 'Doc' The newly airworthy certified B-29, sister to Fifi, one of only 2 B-29's flying in the world just rattled my house at no more than 800ft......twice!!!! on it's way to a flyby at the Thunder over Michigan airshow. There is a P-47 'jug' zippin around right now and I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of the Thunderbirds in a couple hours. The Canadian Historical Aircraft Association has the 1941 Stearman, 1952 Harvard and one of 2 Chipmunks up in the air today too, as they do alot. They also proudly house Windsor's Lancaster, FM212 that is currently going through restoration. I hope they can get it airworthy someday but she is in pretty bad shape after sitting on a pedestal in in our downtown park for many years. It never saw active combat being completed at the end of the war but spent it's service life mapping northern Canada until 1962.

Edit. I'm a little confused. apparently Fifi is here at YQG Windsor airport for a few days according to the CHAA website. the ToM airshow page said it's 'Doc' doing a fly over at Willow run airport (only a few miles away) but I can't see the world's only 2 B29's being in the area at the same time. I was in too much awe to actually check the numbers n stuff. I just soaked that beast in as much as I could. Either way, a B-29 peeling the shingles off my roof is fine by me, doesn't matter which one......Just checked some photos...big A on the tail. It WAS Fifi....sorry kids, I'm giddy lol.

Went for a walk with Mrs T at Temple Newsam Park this afternoon and a Beech 18s flew over travelling West. Apparently came from Cambridge but no idea where it was going to. On checking Flight radar is currently at LBA.

I’ve just had 2 Strikemasters fly over at 3500ft going north west. Flight tracker shoes one of them as G-SOAF. I haven’t heard that sound in a while.

Strikemasters were at Bournemouth yesterday, as were BBMF Hurri, Spit and Dakota.  Presumably anyone between there and Oslo should see the two vampires and the Mig 15 going home sometime?

Voyager a few minutes ago. My son went to Cyprus on one last weekend so I watched it heading towards Brize or Fairford.

Something much higher heading straight towards me. Unmistakable profile of a B-52, deployed to Fairford?

Two Ukrainian Su-27s escorting Il-76. On full cruise altitude over southern Poland (Krakow) - said to be returning from some airshow (in Germany?) . The contrails looked really unusual! I have noticed the contrails from car gaing back home from work, so I did not know what it is, however on Polish spotter forum very nice photos of this fomation can be seen, namely here:
