Not bad at all! I am mildly impressed!

Martin

Having spent a morning trying t breath new life into some 1/1 scale heads that haven't been used for over five years has left me a bit off floaty things at the moment! That's ship's heads for the benefit of Longshanks.

Thanks guys much appreciated

Hendie A useful material that I'm still trying to get my head around :banghead:

Martin you've got me confused, nothing unusual there then! I have a picture in my mind of you giving the kiss of life to a resussy Ann ....

No just finger trouble with the computer, post now fully corrected and should make more sense now. Well, as much sense as I ever make!

Sorry Martin I missed the boat on that one

Drum roll......

The curtains draw back to reveal Martin's latest floater!!

I hope you won't be to upset if I say it's cr*p

Kev

I wondered how long it would take you to rise to the bait on that one! Nice to see that you are keeping up BM standards.

Latest path into insanity.......

'I feel the need' for a flag locker :hmmm:

I've tried in the past and got no where so a cunning plan was needed.

Working around Evergreen strip sizes I've made a start

This shows a test piece to confirm the width.
P1030426%20Copy_zpsabalhwoh.jpg
Its all about jig a jig
This is the cutting jig on the chopper set for cutting the verticals
P1030427%20Copy_zpsz5l4loek.jpg
P1030430%20Copy_zpsqus8kdvo.jpg
Spacers being used to ensure the correct/constant spacing
P1030431%20Copy_zpsall99dx4.jpg
P1030432%20Copy_zps2zoxwvpv.jpg
Two rows completed and the plan seems to be working
P1030434%20Copy_zpscek1oihm.jpg
Right hand side and bottom left off in case of creep. Two rows completed five to go giving 49 pigeon holes 1.7 x 1.7mm and a locker underneath
Thanks for stopping by.....

As in Austin Powers: "Good God, the fat b*****d left a floater".......................................... :bleh::clown: or in a previous reincarnation at sea, (at anchor actually), when the sparks went swimming. The spine chilling cry was heard from outboard: "Aghhhhhh,............Who's the moron that used the head and doesn't chew his peanuts", ah,.........the joys of nostalgia :oops:

Looks good but we expect no half measures and want to see proper flags being made and then being rolled up and properly secured before insertion into their individual places in the locker.

Happy days..............

Martin you are so demanding :fight:

I suppose you want something like this

P1030440%20Copy_zpsyuh9obxb.jpg

P1030441%20Copy_zpsgpr4qf9g.jpg

One displaying the flags is quite enough, canvas cover pulled down on the other

P1030443%20Copy_zpsfnlnzckj.jpg

P1030442%20Copy_zpsqgzjlcpx.jpg

P1030439%20Copy_zpsk0lt3rux.jpg

Note for Martin ........... Flags will be painted the correct colours when the time is right

Thanks for looking in

that is really nice. It looks so simple but I know how difficult it is to get nice square edges, and the fact that you have achieved it with multiple stacks is very impressive - great work

That's right, but with proper flags that can be taken out and unfurled. Thought I was being quite reasonable really!

I remember Warren asking what the deal was with the "Bog Rolls" in the Photo etch when the "Channel Adversary" thread was running over at Jimbo's place. Just his subtle Aussie way of asking what the hell I was doing with the PE flag locker.

Great work Kev
