Were you not a member of Customs & Exercise?

Do you have a penchant for rubber?

Gentlemen of BM you have been warned

Kev

I was, I haven't but I'm still wired that way!

Continuing on with my battle damaged discarded lifeboat

I had a picture in my mind as to how I wanted it to look. I decided to try a new technique and thanks to @Dads203 advice I've got that picture down on plastic.

Called The Hairspray technique and no it wasn't mine.

First laid on old wood, hairspray.

Dark antifouling, hairspray, light antifouling . . . . . I think you get the picture

Water and a cocktail stick et voila

A bit of dressing and I think it will be good enough for a corner of the quayside

Thanks for looking in. As always I thank you for your comments and likes

I've seen the hairspray technique used on aircraft models to simulate paint chipping and wear.  This is the first time I've seen it used on a boat.  The end result looks very realistic.  Well done, Kev! :clap2:

Well it wouldn't be yours: this technique doesn't work with Harmony. That said, the boat looks exceedingly effective.

:clap2: It's ma roots!!

And I was too ill this week to do any work on the "B" :weep:

On a serious note - The dinghy might benefit from a wash - Mig ammo (and no doubt AK) do a "Slimy Green" in different shades - https://www.migjimenez.com/en/33-nature-effects

Worth a thought?

LOL!!

I need to know the type of illness that means you can do as you fancy. I'd love to use it with the other half...

Naga is looking good.

Good idea with the washes I'll give it some thought, watch this space . . .
