SMD70
Thanks Warren. Still I do think a space on my book shelf might have a space… not the display cabinet though.

FZ6
That Stormtrooper model looks fantastic I might have to get one. Going off Topic slightly I saw the most awesome set of motorbike leathers I have ever seen the other day. http://www.udreplicas.com/products/star-wars----stormtrooper-motorcycle-suit--white.html Don't think I'll be getting a set though. Madmonk
That looks nice!! There is also a 1/72 TIE Fighter http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN994870/Sci and R2-D2 & R5-D4 double kit in 1/12 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN995963/Sci Looks like Bandai are coming up trumps with the Star Wars kits, still no news on the BIG star destroyer yet! Will Vale
That's perfect, thanks Jessica! I love that it's the Kenner AT-AT, and the plastic bag bit made me laugh out loud. Will
Madmonk
Just had a look on the Bandai Star Wars site and the following are scheduled for 2015 release. http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/schedule/index.html 1/72 Y Wing 1/48 Snowspeeder 1/144 Slave 1 1/12 Speeder Bike (may be with Scout Trooper) 1/12 Sand Trooper 1/12 C3PO There is a 1/48 X-Wing due in May with 'electrics', appears to be lights and sound. (All pre-orders have stopped on this one, obviously a lot of demand) Still no sign of the Star Destroyer! Cheers, Warren
Will Vale
Wow they aren't hanging around! I was going to bash my Stormtrooper into a Sandtrooper. [edit] Found a list of differences for the real thing - in 1/12 scale they're almost all not worth bothering about, and the ones that are (boxes, pauldron) would be easy to make. http://www.looksirdroids.com/replica_sand-storm.htm I'm sure I saw the (a?) 1/48 X-Wing advertised in Hobby Japan as "motion type" or something along those lines, making me wonder if it might have opening and closing S-foils? Andy Moore
I'm pretty sure the 1/48 X-wing has operating s-foils. The stand has built in buttons to operate the electronics. Really looking forward to the 1/48 Snowspeeder, I missed the Finemolds version. Andy

Cheers, Warren Gentlemen we are looking 6 new model kits that we're gonna buy I guess (or should I say, I hope) after the sale numbers (of issued models so far) which will probably high, Bandai would release a Star Destroyer in 2016. An episode VII Millennium Falcon as well. I know it's blasphemy to talk about ep.I (which I tried to watch for a second time and I got bored more than any French art movies) I wish they released a Gungam sub too. Andy Moore
A gungan sub would be nice but, as far as the prequels go, a 1/48 Republic gunship or ARC-170 would be pretty cool. Very unlikely though. Andy
Neil Lambess
Even tho Disneys involved now, it looks like they are following the Lucasfilm standard list of what to kit........... (so a gungan sub is likely to be on the cards, but no blockade runners, medical frigates, mon calamari ships, sail barges, ....sigh ................ )
Smiffy
Well, lets wait and see. Bandai are quite quirky and their release schedule seems much busier than Finemolds ever was

Will From what Hobbylink Japan TV know of the model, it will have LED illuminated engines, and folding/unfolding S-Foils.
