That looks nice!!

There is also a 1/72 TIE Fighter http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN994870/Sci

and R2-D2 & R5-D4 double kit in 1/12 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN995963/Sci

Looks like Bandai are coming up trumps with the Star Wars kits, still no news on the BIG star destroyer yet!

Cheers,

Warren

Just had a look on the Bandai Star Wars site and the following are scheduled for 2015 release.

http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/schedule/index.html

1/72 Y Wing

1/48 Snowspeeder

1/144 Slave 1

1/12 Speeder Bike (may be with Scout Trooper)

1/12 Sand Trooper

1/12 C3PO

There is a 1/48 X-Wing due in May with 'electrics', appears to be lights and sound. (All pre-orders have stopped on this one, obviously a lot of demand)

Still no sign of the Star Destroyer!

Cheers,

Warren

Wow they aren't hanging around! I was going to bash my Stormtrooper into a Sandtrooper.

[edit] Found a list of differences for the real thing - in 1/12 scale they're almost all not worth bothering about, and the ones that are (boxes, pauldron) would be easy to make.

I'm sure I saw the (a?) 1/48 X-Wing advertised in Hobby Japan as "motion type" or something along those lines, making me wonder if it might have opening and closing S-foils?

Gentlemen we are looking 6 new model kits that we're gonna buy :)

I guess (or should I say, I hope) after the sale numbers (of issued models so far) which will probably high, Bandai would release a Star Destroyer in 2016. An episode VII Millennium Falcon as well.

I know it's blasphemy to talk about ep.I (which I tried to watch for a second time and I got bored more than any French art movies) I wish they released a Gungam sub too.

Even tho Disneys involved now, it looks like they are following the Lucasfilm standard list of what to kit........... (so a gungan sub is likely to be on the cards, but no blockade runners, medical frigates, mon calamari ships, sail barges, ....sigh :( ................ )

Will

From what Hobbylink Japan TV know of the model, it will have LED illuminated engines, and folding/unfolding S-Foils.

I also had confirmation that my Scout Walker was dispatched from HLJ on Sat 28 Feb.

Guess what's just turned up, today (Monday March 2).

2 days!. That's a new record. B)

Fantastic kit. I'm really liking these new Bandai SW models. :)
