Yankar
Hello ppl!!! This is my first WIP here and I am sure that with your help the final result will be much better than my precious builds. This is going to be my 4th model, so as you can understand I am pretty new to plastic modelism and your comments would help me a lot to improve my skills as well as learn new techniques. I choose the F4U-1A Tamiya kit in 1/48 scale (kit ref: 61070) I am going to use a U.S. seatbelt set by eduard and a decal set by Techmodel. My intention is to build the Ira's Kepford plane belonged to the Vf-17 squadron known as "Jolly Roggers". Thus I am going for a 3 colors camo using basically Gunze and Tamiya colors. The project started with the building of the cockpit. I sprayed the cockpit within H58 interior green while I used white ensign night for control panels and some details. The rest of the instruments, buttons and lamps are painted using citadel acrylics. For the panel instruments I placed the decal provided by tamiya. The cockpit is not finished yet, please have a look at the current stage: Please fill free to provide me with your valuable views and comments on my work. Your feedback will be highly appritiacated. Ps. I hope I used the proper technical terms in English. Please excuse and correct me if not

jimmydel
Looking really good. The Tamiya Corsairs in 1/48 are really nice kits. I built a few in my 1/48 days. It's interesting to compare it with the 1/32 version I'm building now. I'll be following along
