Bear13583
[/url] Could somebody please enlighten me as to the purpose of this pod included in Revell's F-4E kit? Edited November 16, 2014 by Bear13583
Dave Wilson
This is just a guess but those things that look like q tips look like the end of a refuelling basket to me. The Toom could do buddy refuelling. (In fact it could amazingly enough do it supersonic, wouldn't like to have tried that personally...). Dave Wilson
Looking excellent to my eyes. How do you get the paint to look so smooth?
Bear13583
Camera phone and distance are the key there. But this has had 3 different schemes, Euro 1, wrap around SEA and standard SEA. Mostly xtracrylics but with humbrol enamel 119 and AS16 underneath. All brush painted on top with Future and revellers acrylic 02 over everything. Steve Collins
Looks nice, Bear. By the way, it's definitely an ALE-38 chaff tank. I've got many hours crawling in and around them (my waist was a lot smaller then). Steve
