Fatboydim
Hi, I'm looking for some advice about the Tamiya photo booth. I like the idea that it's portable, but is it worth the money. Thank you for your help.

louiex2
I recall seeing plans one one of modeling site for a photo booth made out of foam core board- probably would cost less than £10. I'll see if I can find it again? PS- found it at Cybermodeler http://www.cybermodeler.com/special/photobooth.shtml. The materials don't look too expensive and if you can build a model kit, you certainly can make one yourself. Black Knight
Depends on what size you need; a 40x40 cm light tent will cost you under £8 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Photo-Studio-Light-Shooting-Tent-Cube-Soft-Box-4-Flocked-Backdrops-UK-Stock-/141278079356?pt=UK_Light_Controls_Softboxes_Diffusers&hash=item20e4d4697c This will do up to a 1/48th fighter aeroplane for larger stuff 60x 60 and up to 1m x 1m cubes are available. They all fold down and are very light weight. I use a 50x50 cube
Fatboydim
Thank you louiex2 & Black Knight, both of those are well worth thinking about. I liked the idea of the Tamiya studio, but I wondered what the quality was like. But both of your ideas won't break the bank. Thanks again.
