Geoffrey Abreu
I was wondering if anyone had a photo or drawing or knew where I could possibly see one of the rear cockpit bulkhead for the Spit Mk VI. I have a 1/48 Hasegawa Mk VI that I want to start soon and need to scratch the rear pressurised bulkhead as Hasegawa only provides the un pressurised frame. I have been trying to find something but have not had any luck yet. Thanks, Geoff

gingerbob
If you aren't the same person who asked on Hyperscale, there are a few hints there, if nothing really definitive. bob
Edgar
See if you can get hold of a copy of the Patrick Stephens book "Classic Aircraft no.1" on the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire; in Chapter Five there are illustrations of the bulkhead, heating & demisting arrangements, and the extra altimeter in the cockpit, plus a cutaway drawing in Chapter Six. If you can't get one, give me an E-mail address, and I can scan them and send them to you.
Geoffrey Abreu
Thanks, Edgar, I found a copy of the book and purchased it. No doubt it will be a help with other builds as well. Thanks for referring me to it, Geoff
