albymoore
Hi Gang- This is AMT's 1/2500 U.S.S. Enterprise-E from their Cadet Series line of snap-together kits. Replicating the complex paint scheme was easy as it only required the light gray base coat, everything else is all decal work. The decals are a mix of kit decals and aftermarket decals (from Absolute Models). The planetary display base was made from half of a clear sphere. Acrylic craft paint was swirled into the whole sphere and then gravity blended the colors together over the course of a few hours. All in all a very fun project. Thanks for looking! albymoore
Thank you, Chris! The 'E' is my favorite starship outside of the original to bear the Enterprise. Lean, mean, exploring machine. Cheers, Albert
