That's a cracking set of links Houston. Thanks for taking the time to post them :thumbsup:

Finally made some progress with this one again. The closed canopy option has been masked off and held in place with White Tac, the undercarriage bays and tail pipe stuffed with more White Tac, then an HB pencil has been shoved up its bum to act as a hand hold while spraying. Added the upper aerials so only the lower fuselage one and the nose pitot probe to go on now then I'll squirt paint at it.

Anyone remember this one? It's sat in a corner of the workbench taunting me for the best part of a year so I did this to it;

Needs a little tidy up in a couple areas but I'm happy with how it's all turned out. Also glued the tanks and flaps into position.

Thanks Martin. Have a couple Group Build projects that need my immediate attention but have plenty enthusiasm to crack on with this one again.

So I took some time over the weekend to crack on with this one and suddenly;

The demister pipework was added to the canopy and it got glued on. Then the undercarriage went on. After that it was decal time. Mainly off the Aeroclub kit sheet but with the fin flash and 4 FTS badges by Airfix as they looked slightly better. Both types performed well when laid onto a coat of Klear.

Make a new pitot probe and paint the wingtip lights - job done :D

Looking great!

Martin

Thank you once again Martin. It's nice to know someone is watching this one move slowly forward.

One the subject of which;

The wingtip lights were painted with Tamiya Clear Green X-25 and, in this photo, Clear Red X-27

Then a pitot probe made from Albion Alloys aluminium tubing

So that's that. Job done :D

I'll try to take some better photos over the weekend in daylight and then post an RFI thread.
