Muzz
Starting to look ahead to my next build, I'm planning on building Academy's Fulcrum as I have 2 other GWH examples in the stash and if I don't build this one first I'll never build it! I'm planning on building it in flight which makes a change for me and I've ordered some rather nice decals for a special scheme. Just looking to see what the pitfalls are of the kit, I've already stocked up on a few bits of AM including the Quickboost nose, Aires pit and Eduard exterior PE and a PJ Productions pilot figure. Wondering how well the undercarriage doors will fit in the closed position too as there doesn't appear to an option for this with the kit.
Don McIntyre
Beware of the forward fuselage to main fuselage fit. I didn't pay enough care to it and had a heck of a lot of filling and sanding work to do...
aidy
Ignore the instructions and join the fuselage into upper and lower halves. For the lower nose halves I find it better to work on aligning the sides as best as you can. The seam on the bottom is easier to eliminate (or hide). The fit of the undercarriage doors are miserable in the closed position. The small doors attached to the main gear actuator don't fit at all. Muzz
Don and Aidy Thanks for the replies, my plan would be to add the lower and upper halves to their respective parts before joining as you suggest Aidy. Maybe I'll need to re think the wheels up idea! Muzz
