P7T3B Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Hello, I have a few questions to ask you (or anyone that can help) about the detail in your TAMIYA LaFerrari, if you don't mind?First, I just wanted to say WOW.. that is TOP-NOTCH work, very nice sir!!Just a FYI, I've been building model cars for around 30+ years (nothing serious) and have just recently gotten back into the hobby.I just recently purchased/ordered (still awaiting it's delivery) the TAMIYA LaFerrari, I also got the Carbon Fiber decal set, along with the Detail-Up set from Hobby Design, the HD02-0271 1/24 LaFarrari For TAMIYA 24333.Paint: What technique/method did you use to get that "used" look on the transmission/engine?Chrome: On the exhaust, what paint/brand is that, it looks like.. chrome!? lolI can Google the method/technique and research it online, I just don't know what it's called!?Wires: What are the wires you used for the engine detail, spark plug wires etc, what are the orange wires you used?Did you have to drill the hole for any of the wires, and if so, what size bit did you use?Any other tips would be great!Again, beautiful LaFerrari.. and thank you for your time and any help you can provide!
