neilh Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 They may not be popular with many, but I find the inclusion of only one pilot with a two-seat aircraft a little disappointing. Still, it's better than none though. I won't be using my Gnat pilot. MarcV Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I have used a Halfords spray can - Peugeot Aluminium - for a high speed silver finish for a long time. Recently I have found it goes on even better over a gloss yellow undercoat (again Halfords) rather than the grey primer used previously. I discovered this when spraying the yellow trainer bands on a Vampire T.11 (ending up with a yellow Vampire) before masking and using the silver. Worth ago. As to costs - a Halfords can is sufficient for 3 (recent Lightnings), the Vampire and a Gnat (all 1/72) Glad a Gnat's out at last. Is Halford's really better than Alclad though?
