Renault 4 Fourgonnette

Recommended Posts

This is Ebbro's recently released Renault 4 Fourgonnette. I have built it as a -68 model as it could have looked when used by the local Renault dealer back then, with decals from my own printing and the scrap box. I also did some work in the engine bay to back date the kit parts correctly and created better Fourgonnette seats, discarding the kit parts. Apart from that it's more or less from the box. There is a build thread here.

Just as I remember them. Needs some paint chips around the starting handle hole in the bumper!

Brilliant model. The pannel line gap, door, tailgate hinges is very realistic.

Thats a beauty, reminds me of the old police one they had near where I lived in Ireland, someone had dropped a Gordini rally engine in it...that thing flew :police: . Great build, love the grill.

Awesome old van, really well done. I assume these things had a key start too as well as a crank? My Dad's old '72 Nissan Patrol had both.

Thanks a lot for all kind words, I'm quite overwhelmed. But it's also a good kit to use as a base.

I have more R4's in different versions coming sooner or later.
