Jockster
This build never fails to stun. The word 'masterclass' keeps springing to mind. There is always something beautiful about lots of white styrene added to kit parts.
RMP2
Its one thing to add all the extra tiny parts and build it up, which is way beyond my ability, but to then paint them all in situ??? Just bonkers and something I will never be able to achieve or understand. Keep going, it really is impressive stuff.
shark 64
Thanks guys. Luckily all these parts are mostly one color. I wasn't planning on showing the engine and the engine bay but I should know better. Edited February 8, 2016 by shark 64

Jockster
Someone like squadron should be turning this into a build manual. For the real helicopter!

shark 64
What happened to the ring at this end?I had to relocate it. A bit forward.Just ordered braided hoses from detailmaster. This is a bit smaller than the the Hueys engine.

hairystick
Just stunning work! I'm going to suggest a captive breeding programme under Britmodeller control. If we can get shark 64, hendie, airscale and a few selected others involved, we could breed the UberModeller! The modelling world would tremble in fear! Muahahahah! 1
shark 64
Finished the engine cowling. Now let's see if everything fits inside that fuselage before painting...
Alain De Loor
Your skills are truly inspiring. Now that I am retired and have lots of time on my hands, I'll try to follow your example in the level of detailing. Well done Al
Jockster
I really really want to use bad language to describe the enjoyment I get from looking at all this beautiful work. I loved Cyril McCanns modelmaking when I was younger, he was quite an influence on my modelmaking. I only ever saw his finished works. You're work is how I have always imagined his under construction! Cracking stuff!
