Thanks Bodmin, I have to agree I think the compasition is just about right. Nealy finished, the detail on the kit is very nice. I had to go for the kits planking as I had a slant at one end. I put the Hummel on to see how much space I would have. The siding does look good with all track filled, I will have to think about the he WC if I can move it a little. Ozzy
Hi Ozzy. Glad you've finally got it! And it's looking good too. Kind regards, Stix Thanks Stix, I tried a different supplier and my first build of the year. Just need to get some paint on before the start of the 88 and eastern front GB's. Ozzy
Keep the Hummel! It´s my fave SPG of the whole WW2. V-P Thanks V-P, The Hummel will stay for a bit, I've got a Panzer IV on order and my plan is to have it driving onto the platformwagen. With the commander guiding it on, this will mean a little movement with the road wheels and tracks. I know what you mean about the Hummel, I must say I do like them too.
Ozzy
Just a small up date. I have painted and put the transfers on, they went on really well with no major dramas. I have also applyed some mig pigments Russian earth and European dust. Will add a bit of oil and grease tomorrow, then I'll just be waiting for the panzer IV to turn up.

Personally, I'd never use one in a diorama. A better and completely different option would be a Nashorn. Looking good Ozzy. Looking good Ozzy. Rearguards, Badder Thanks Badder, if I'd gone for another 80 ton platformwagen, I could have had both. Hopefully my Panzer IV will turn up soon. Some pictures in situ with some vehicles to make it look busy, for the weathering I used mig Russian earth. For the oil patches I used Tamiya's smoke. A close up of Oblt. Hans-Joachim Jung. vppelt68
A close up of Oblt. Hans-Joachim Jung. Missing a bit of his fist Ach, Ostfront! You don't need to be in physically perfect condition to be fit to be sent to battle... V-P
Ozzy
Ach, Ostfront! You don't need to be in physically perfect condition to be fit to be sent to battle... V-P At that point of the war, I think as long as you could walk in a straight line you were in. I had fashioned a fist out of filler that must of fell out when he fell over. I will need to get him to the sick bay
Ozzy
My dioarama is finally complete, here is my Panzer IV built out of the box and painted with lifecolor set of paints. I built it as part of the Great Patriotic War GB as I had finished my other build.
